Letter from Student
The Petite Etiquette Class ended today with a fabulous brunch. All students were able to dine in the restaurant with proper manners, grace and confidence. I was proud of all students and each became very special to me.
I received a most gracious letter from one student who gave permission to post.
Dear Ms. Diana,
I thank you and also my parents for teaching me manners and that is the best gift I have ever had. I had so much fun when we went down stairs and looked at the clothes and the cupcakes were great-they tasted really good but I had a better time when we were talking about manners.
It was awesome to spend time with you Ms. Diana and I learned what side to put the spoon, knife and fork and I also learned how to sit like a lady.
Thank you and I hope that God blesses you and that the Angels be at your side forever.
Love,
Tatiana Cardona (9 years old)

State Farm Vivianne Alvarez
I just had the honor of providing a fun filled evening of Business, Social and Dining Etiquette for the staff of a Miami insurance company. The lessons included a 7 course meal and dining tutorial. Please note the gracious note received from the owner of the company, Ms. Vivianne Alvarez.
Good Morning Diana,
I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful class. My team really, truly enjoyed you and your lessons on Business, Social and Dining Etiquette. I am sure this will benefit my office production as well as their own personal self esteem. They could not stop talking about you the next day and I have noticed an increase in politeness not only amongst themselves but with clients which is what I wanted and now thank you!

Petite Etiquette School
Petite Etiquette School started February 21st and we are well underway with a most engaged group of students. They have learned proper greetings, handshakes, eye contact, polite conversation, proper phone manners, proper sitting, walking and presenting themselves with poise and grace in all that they do. We have started learning table manners, how to behave in a museum, theater, library, air travel etiquette, how to choose good friends and how to be the perfect house guest!
Do you ever wonder how Miley Cirus, The Jonas Brothers, and other stars always wear fabulous outfits? Stars have a personal shopper who knows exactly what to prepare for the person and their body type. Yesterday, these students spent time with a personal shopper who taught them how to create an outfit with color and style and how to choose age appropriate accessories. Everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to our next four classes! Of course, they all want to use the personal shopper that is available to them!

First Impressions
How important is that First Impression?
First impressions are made within 3 seconds and one will never get a chance to make another first impression. First Impressions are made with a glance, noticing your dress, watching your nonverbal communication, hearing your first words and noticing how you carry yourself. It is most difficult if not impossible to recover from a bad First Impression!
In this competitive day, one must always ensure the First Impression is a positive one in the business and social worlds. Possessing the right tools is key. Knowing how you, your children and your staff can make that impression to be taken seriously, convey confidence and display that panache that puts one ahead of the competition in all settings is imperative. These tools last a lifetime!
Please contact me to learn how to ensure a great first impression is always made!

Upcoming Etiquette Events
Greetings,
Please check out the website for upcoming Etiquette classes and events!

A recent USA/Today parent poll asked the question:
Would you rather your children have:
1. Good Friends
2. Good Manners
3. Good Grades
And the parents responded!
1. Good Friends=39%
2. Good Manners=43%
3. Good Grades=18%
Good Manners definitely facilitate good grades and creating a circle of good friends due to respect and confidence built by knowing the right thing to do at the right time!
"Good Manners will open doors that the best education cannot."
Clarence Thomas - Supreme Court Justice
